<description>The support of all political parties in Canada will be necessary to make this initiative work and having the NDP on board is a good start. Spreading the word about the Department of Peace in communities in Canada and building capacity in the grassroots will prove important in persuading our other representatives in government to make peaceful conflict resolution and prevention a priority in domestic and international relations. 2 years of lobbying is a long time but well worth the effort. Good job!
